Eighth District Councilwoman Rae Gabelich joined the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency to light a new traffic signal at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Marshall Place in Bixby Knolls on Tuesday, August 26 at 10 a.m.
The Redevelopment Agency, under the leadership of the Long Beach City Council, has invested $400,000 for Bixby Knolls traffic signals to help slow down traffic and make Atlantic Avenue more pedestrian friendly. A second traffic signal at Cartagena was turned on shortly afterwards.
