Celebrated mystery maven Beth Caswell will reveal for the first time the hauntings and high jinx that took place at her award-winning mystery bookstore Sherlock’s Home in Long Beach. From flying teapots and leaping books to midnight windows, other-worldly apparitions and chilling supernatural sounds, she’ll tell it like it really was.
For more than 15 years Beth interviewed the world’s best-selling mystery authors in her bookshop’s Victorian parlour, filmed the first of her popular mystery cable television shows, and hosted a number of signature events. Now she is breaking her silence to divulge what went on behind the books. Join her for tea and her talk, one day only, Sunday, October 26 at 2 p.m. at Entertaining Events, 3922 Atlantic Avenue.
Cost is $10 for true tale talk only, $17.50 talk and scone with tea during the interval, $27.50 talk and pre-talk afternoon tea served at 1 p.m. Call Beth directly for reservations at (562) 434-5812. For more information, visit www.entertainingevents.org.
