Picture from the People: Beautiful blooms, and bees!

Local photographer Mason Kuehler took a walk through the El Dorado Nature Center to see poppies and fuzzy bees. Mason’s Instagram is @masonkuehler.

Last week the Signal Tribune announced its community-focused project “Pictures from the People” and our readers amazed us with vibrant California poppies from throughout Long Beach and beyond, and even caught a bee napping inside a flower.

There’s less than a week left to send poppy photos in, so get entries sent to Newspaper@signaltribune.com or to our Instagram @SignalTribune by May 3. To see all the community entries, visit our website and social media channels.

The next photo prompt will be announced on May 5 in our newspaper and on our website.
